Overview
The clinic is a dynamic, multidisciplinary practice serving children, adolescents, and adults with ADHD and associated conditions like Learning Disabilities, ASD and Tourette Syndrome. Our experts provide virtual team assessments across Ontario through secure video sessions. We are seeking a part-time or full-time Psychologist/Psychological Associate, with registration in child and/or adult assessment and diagnosis, who can work flexible hours and supervise psychometrists while working from home. Experience performing psychoeducational assessments and diagnosing ADHD and Learning Disabilities is essential. The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists and family physicians. This position offers a positive, collaborative work environment, flexible hours and competitive remuneration.
Job Details and Responsibilities
  • Full-time Employee Position or Part-time Contractor
  • Full-time Employee option includes salary, health care benefits and pension plan
  • Option to work remotely from home from anywhere in Ontario, even post-COVID
  • Conducting team-based psychological assessments
  • Collaborating as a multidisciplinary team member to provide diagnoses and recommendations for ongoing treatment
  • Preparing reports with the support of exceptionally detailed psychometry and administrative staff
  • Developing and communicating client-centred treatment plans
  • Working within a team-based multidisciplinary paradigm
Qualifications
  • Experience completing psychological assessments with adults presenting with mental health, attention, and/or learning challenges
  • Knowledge of current testing instruments
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
  • Commitment to client care, teamwork and professional development
  • Ph.D. or MA in Psychology
  • Current registration in good standing with the College of Psychologists of Ontario
  • Proof of professional liability insurance
  • Declared competency in assessment services for children and/or adults
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strict adherence to the College of Psychologists of Ontario’s Standards and Professional Conduct
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: 120,000 to 140,000 for full-time position option
COVID-19 considerations: This is a ‘work from home’ position, and all video assessments and team meetings can be done remotely. Given our highly specialized team, we expect virtual assessments and meetings to continue post COVID, as we serve clients across Ontario.
Part-time hours: 40 per week
